Award-winning producer/songwriter Joe Pace, who also serves as the leader of the famed Colorado Mass Choir, shows yet another side of his musical personality on this project. In the Spirit is an all-instrumental album featuring original material written by Pace along with a few covers, with featured performances by some of the industry’s top players. Noted bassist Abraham Laboriel displays his noteworthy talents on the Al Jarreau/Greg Mathieson-penned tune « Slippin’ and Sliding. »
